Grass volleyball tournaments have arrived in Edmonton!Men's 3s or Co-ed Reverse 4s format.Open to ages 14 and up.

GENERAL EVENT INFO

8:40 AM - Team check-in and warm-up
9:00 AM - Pool play
12:00 PM (or when last pool play game finishes) - Lunch
1:00 PM - Playoffs
6:00 PM - End of tournamentGameplay Structure
Double Elimination. All teams are guaranteed a minimum of 9 sets of gameplay- Pool Play: 2 sets to 21 - capped
- Playoff Winners' Bracket: Best of 3 sets, 21-21-15 - capped to 25 and 17 for sets to 21 and 15, respectively (EXCEPT FINALS)
- Playoff Backdoor Bracket: Best of 1 set to 25 - cappedMen's 3s Prizes
1st Place - $300 (2.5x your money!)
2nd Place - $120

- Sign the waiver (will be sent to Captain's email)
- Bring plenty of water and food (water refill station and light snacks will be supplied)
- Bring sunscreen, bug spray, chairs, tents, etc.

Men's 3s Tournament Registration Form ($120/team)

You will be prompted to pay after submitting this form.Prefer to register now but pay later?
Please send an e-transfer to [email protected] within 48 hrs of submitting this form to secure your spot.If payment is not received within 48 hrs, your registration will be forfeited. Additionally, payment must be received before tournament day to be valid. Discount codes cannot be used when paying via e-transfer.Please include your team name and the tournament date registered for in the e-transfer message.

Co-ed Reverse 4s Tournament Registration Form ($160/team)

RULES

Normal Indoor Volleyball Rules Apply with the Following Exceptions:

Men's 3s and Co-ed Reverse 4s
- If a ball is sent over from within your own 3-meter line, it must pass the opponent's 3-meter line
- Open hand tips are not allowed
- Players must be square when setting over the net
- Teams do not need to rotate, but there must be a consistent serving sequenceCo-ed Reverse 4s Only
- Males can only hit from behind the 3-meter attack line
- There must be two females on the court at all timesOther Rules
- Shoes are allowed (no metal spikes, trail runners OK)
- Teams should switch sides after every set to ensure fairness when dealing with sun/wind

RAIN OUT POLICY

Final call on whether a tournament is a go will be made at 6 pm the day before the event.
- Cancellation notices will be sent to captains and posted on social media
- If the tournament is cancelled due to rain before play begins, full refunds will be issuedIn the event it rains during a tournament and conditions become unsafe, a partial refund pro-rated based on the number of games played will be issued.Safety is always our top priority! We will carefully monitor weather conditions to ensure a safe and memorable experience.
